NEW GARDEN MOSAIC!

Funded by the City of Houston and the Houston Arts Alliance, this project engaged community members in the art of mosaics to promote healthier lifestyles through gardening.

Our History

Since 1985 Alabama Gardens has provided food, community, and friendship in the 3rd Ward of Houston. From master gardeners to green thumbs in training, we welcome all to our garden community to learn and grow with us. Membership

From garden novices to experts, if you're willing to get your hands dirty, we have a plot for you! First step is to commit to volunteering in the garden. When a plot becomes available, the dues are just $5 a month. We look forward to new members of the Alabama Gardens Community.
